The property now joins the MGM Collection with Marriott Bonvoy, expanding the strategic licensing agreement between MGM Resorts and Marriott International announced in 2023. This collaboration enables members of both Marriott Bonvoy and MGM Rewards programs to access enhanced experiences across their combined resort collections.
Key Changes Include:
- Complete room renovations
- Delano Beach Club rebranding to W Wet Deck
- Skyfall rooftop lounge renovation (maintaining its name)
- Non-gaming status remains unchanged
The W brand's arrival on the Strip aligns with its reputation for luxury and appeal to younger demographics. The property joins eleven other MGM Strip properties in the MGM Collection with Marriott Bonvoy, including Aria, Bellagio, and the Cosmopolitan.
Travis Lunn, Mandalay Bay COO, emphasized the W Hotels' global reputation for unique style and exceptional service, noting that the property will continue to evolve over the next couple of years through distinctive programming and elevated service culture.
This transformation coincides with other MGM property changes, including the rebranding of NoMad at Park MGM, as Las Vegas operators continue investing in property enhancements to maintain competitive advantages in the market.
