After allegedly forcing her to perform a sex act in Oklahoma City, Martin ordered the victim to retrieve money from her residence. While there, she managed to alert a friend about her situation, who then contacted the police.
Law enforcement located the victim at NW 22nd Street and North May Avenue in Oklahoma City, where she identified Martin in a nearby car. He was subsequently arrested and charged with kidnapping, human trafficking, and forcible sodomy.
Newcastle Casino, located 24 miles from the arrest site, released a statement emphasizing their commitment to patron and employee safety. Casino spokeswoman Kym Koch Thompson confirmed they are cooperating with law enforcement in the investigation.
Court records reveal Martin had a prior felony arrest for domestic abuse by strangulation and a pending human trafficking case from April involving a teenage victim.
The casino maintains trained security staff who can escort patrons to their vehicles and respond to uncomfortable situations, demonstrating their priority on visitor safety.
