MGM Resorts Increases Resort and Parking Fees Across All Las Vegas Properties
MGM Resorts has increased both resort and parking fees across all its Las Vegas Strip properties, marking the second fee hike in 2024.
Resort Fee Increases:
- Aria, Bellagio, Cosmopolitan, Vdara: Now $55/day (+$5)
- MGM Grand, Mandalay Bay, Delano: Now $50/day (+$5)
- Park MGM, Nomad, The Signature: Now $50/day (+$8)
- New York-New York: Now $45/day (+$3)
- Luxor, Excalibur: Now $45/day (+$8)

Parking Fee Changes:
- Monday-Friday: $20/day (up from $18)
- Friday-Sunday: $24/day (up from $23)
Parking Fee Exemptions:
- MGM Rewards pearl tier members and above
- Active US military, veterans, and spouses (through MVP program)
- Nevada residents with valid license (free for first 3 hours)
Resort fees are marketed as covering amenities like Wi-Fi, gym access, and local calls. However, they primarily exist to help hotels maintain competitive rates on travel websites while generating additional revenue. These fees typically aren't displayed until the final booking stage.
The Biden administration has stated its commitment to eliminating such "junk fees" from the travel industry, though only 39 days remain in the current presidential term.
