JW Marriott Las Vegas Resort Launches $75M Renovation Project at Rampart Casino
The JW Marriott Las Vegas Resort & Spa at the Rampart Casino has announced a comprehensive $75 million renovation project, coinciding with the property's 25th anniversary. Located in Summerlin, the western part of Las Vegas, this multi-year renovation will transform key areas of the resort.

The renovation project includes:
- Conference center upgrades
- Complete guest room modernization
- Lobby transformation
- Enhanced technological features
The upgraded guest rooms will feature:
- 560 square feet of living space
- Residential dining tables and couches
- Ceiling fans
- 65-inch smart TVs
- Premium coffee machines
- Desert-inspired color schemes
- Metallic finishes
Notable room features include:
- 98 rooms with walk-out and Juliette balconies
- 11 guestrooms and suites with walk-out terraces
- Views of gardens, waterfalls, and koi ponds
The renovation, overseen by Calgary-based FRANK Architecture and Interiors, comes at a crucial time as competition in the Las Vegas locals market intensifies. This upgrade positions the property to compete with newer venues like the recently opened Durango Casino & Resort and established properties such as Suncoast and Red Rock Casino.
The property is owned and operated by Hotspur Resorts, a subsidiary of Canada-based Larco Hospitality, and represents one of Marriott's few direct partnerships with a gaming venue in Las Vegas.
