During 2022 raids, authorities seized:
- 100 gambling devices
- $29,204 in cash
- 62 gift cards
The sentences handed down by Michigan Circuit Court Judge Richard D. Ball include:
- Father: Two years probation, $130 in fines, $136 in fees and court costs
- Son: One year probation, $130 in fine, $68 in fees and court costs
Originally facing serious charges including conducting a criminal enterprise and using computers to commit crimes, both men accepted plea deals. They pled guilty to maintaining a gambling house for gain, with the elder Bellah also pleading guilty to conducting a gambling operation without a license.
